Inviting your team
Step 4 of the setup checklist. Giving your staff their own logins means work and audit history are attributed to the person who actually did it, not shared under one account.

Sending an invite
From Settings → Users → Invite User, enter the person's name, email and role. They get an email with a link to set their own password — nobody types a password on their behalf, and the invite is single-use.
Five staff roles are available:
- Administrator — full access, including settings, billing and other staff.
- Property Manager — day-to-day operations across the portfolio.
- Assistant Manager — a reduced version of Property Manager.
- Maintenance — scoped to work orders and vendor coordination.
- Accountant — scoped to payments, invoices and financial reports.
Common questions
Why does this step need a second person? The account you registered with already counts as the first staff member — this step tracks whether you've invited anyone else, since a portfolio run by one person alone has no audit-attribution problem to solve yet.
What if someone's invite link has expired? Every invite link is valid for 7 days. Resend it from Settings → Users — it doesn't matter how much time has passed, resending issues a fresh link.
Can a staff member turn on their own two-factor authentication? Yes, and it's entirely self-service once they've logged in — see Setting up two-factor authentication.
